Ok, I managed to find the problem preventing the game (both games) from launching. So if your "binkw32.dll" is missing, then I suggest you reinstall the game using GOG's installer. I also tested the installer for the KOTOR games and can also confirm that "binkw32.dll" is installed by the KOTOR 2 installer from GOG itself. However, I did check the download and my copy and can confirm that all of the files are intact. So the next thing I will try is to backdate my installation to the older version I previously used when playing by uninstalling and reinstalling using the older version installer I have backed up. It does seem that GOG updated the KOTOR installation after I uploaded the patch.
KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II LEGACY VS PATCH
So I have no way of testing the patch at the moment.

They worked fine last year, but for some reason when I try to launch them they just sit there in the processes list and don't do anything. Neither KOTOR 1 nor 2 will launch at all. Someone else did, I just re-uploaded it when requested because the original poster pulled it because another poster spooked him with a lie.ĮDIT: OK, I don't know what's going on, but it seems I can't even launch KOTOR 2 anymore. Possibly an antivirus automatically deleting files without notifying you (some AV's have reportedly been a little twitchy with false positives), but I'll do some checks just to make sure my google drive isn't playing any funny games with my files. My gut instinct is the problem is on your end. bink dll files are missing Well, many people have downloaded and installed this without issue and I've used this myself when I was playing.
